History and Examination
During this stage, your dentist will review your dental and medical history and perform a detailed oral examination. Our goal is to understand your overall health, identify any areas of concern, and provide thoughtful, precise recommendations for your ongoing care.
Diagnosis and Treatment
Once your diagnosis is complete, our treatment coordinator and dentist will finalise your plan, ensuring you feel informed and at ease. Enjoy wall-mounted TV entertainment during your visit, and gentle Vaseline care for your lips following treatment for added comfort.

Principal Dentist

Dr Nathan Phan is an experienced and dedicated dentist with over 20 years in private practice. After earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 1999, he has provided comprehensive dental care across Essendon, Keilor, and Maribyrnong. Dr Nathan founded Dental Essence in 2010 with a clear vision to deliver high-quality, patient-focused dentistry in a comfortable and caring environment.
Committed to ongoing professional growth, Dr Phan regularly attends continuing education programs. His postgraduate studies include Rotary Endodontics, CEREC Restorations, the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry Level 3 Certificate, the GIDE Implant Masters Program at UCLA, and Progressive Orthodontics.
Beyond the clinic, Dr Nathan enjoys hiking, fishing, and unwinding with a good single malt whisky. A devoted Carlton supporter and Melbourne Storm fan, he brings the same enthusiasm and resilience from sports into his approach to patient care.

Terms & Conditions
Dental Implants: $334/month over 12 months (1st of each month) is calculated on $5,000 with the in-house payment plan. 5-year warranty applies to implant failure.
Clear Aligners: A full dental check-up and X-rays are required to confirm suitability and treatment costs.
Dental Veneers: Treatment duration and results may differ depending on each case.
